Streaming suggestion #2

This one has flown under the radar

My second streaming TV suggestion is a complete 180 from the intensity of The Bear. It’s lighter, it’s an easy watch…and I feel like nobody has ever talked about it. Part of that is undoubtedly because it has been available on three different outlets over its first three seasons. For the record, this fun show has also touched on all of the following so far:

• Infidelity

• Divorce

• Interracial relationships

• Gender identity

• The perils of artificial intelligence

• Porn addiction

• Genital mutilation

• Time-space continuum concerns

• The pressures of making first contact with extra-terrestrial lifeforms

We’re talking about Seth MacFarlane’s The Orville, a Star Trek-esque hour long comedy-drama. It began on Fox five years back, ran for two seasons, switched to Hulu for a third that began streaming in June, and now has all episodes available to watch on Disney+.
