So much for that triumphant return to posting

Everything is tough right now.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for this unprecedented and unacceptable gap between posts. It wasn’t planned. I don’t feel good about it. But the simple truth is just that I’m going through one of those patches where it feels like almost everything is a struggle. A lot of it is work. More of it than I’d like to admit is health-related. Some of it is personal stuff.

The sum total is that there have been a lot of recent days where my mindset ended up being “just get through it.”

Those add up. And they’re exhausting.
