Now that Peacemaker and The Book of Boba Fett have wrapped up their respective debut seasons, I can take a bigger-picture look at them. I’m also including Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian, since he played such a big part in Boba’s season, and more importantly, because he fits into the overall theme of this post and the overarching reason for why these shows connect so hard with me on a personal level.
They’re all about fathers and sons. More specifically, they are about protagonist men struggling to deal with the ongoing issues presented by their paternal relationships. Spoilers ahead.
