The good news is that this week has flown by for me. It feels like I was just waiting for the Josh Duggar appeal brief to come in on Monday. The bad news is that I ended up being really busy and haven’t gotten to work on Substack posts. I have one that is partially done, and something happened since I first thought of it that will actually make it markedly better when I do get it posted, so that’s great. I’ll work on it this weekend.
So, in the spirit of at least having some content, here were some of my biggest stories of the week. If you are such a loyal reader that you have already seen all of these, well…first off, thank you! And secondly, I send my apologies for re-posting them here. But most of these were pretty interesting. If it’s a story that’s new to you, those usually include links embedded in the article that can take you to earlier stuff to get caught up.
MONDAY

Judge rejects another handwritten motion from guy that decided to represent himself in $100 million COVID-19 fraud case.

Note: At work, there is a severe restriction on the number of characters that we can use in a headline on our site’s homepage. There is no such limitation here, so the headlines above, while I would never use them at the station, are much more representative of what I wish I could write.
Have a great weekend, everybody!
