I don’t watch a ton of true crime documentaries. It’s not that I’m not interested in them, because lots of them can be absolutely fascinating. I think it’s because I probably get enough similar content pumped through my brain every day at work, so when I do want to settle down, chill out, and watch something, I generally opt for a show or a movie that gets me to disconnect from that for a while.
Today’s exception: American Manhunt – The Boston Marathon Bombing, on Netflix. It’s a three-episode docu-series, and if you have any interest at all in that event, or you were remotely curious about the investigation, I cannot recommend this enough. It’s fantastic.
