I’ve seen lots of discussion about Anna Duggar on reddit—her state of mind, how she behaved during the trial, what her reaction to the verdict might have been.
I’ve never seen her TV show. I basically knew nothing about her going into this trial. But as I have learned more about the family dynamic at play, the more I think that this particular moment was…I don’t know…perhaps indicative of something.
It was just after a recess was called during the first week of the trial. The gallery was not as Duggar-heavy as it would became later on during the process. I was seated one row behind her in the gallery and we reached the heavy, wooden courtroom doors at about the same moment.
